Within the Ngura region of the Flores Islands lies the Inerie volcano. Twelve farms from the town of Bajawa collaborate to produce coffee on the slopes of the Inerie volcano.
This coffee is often referred to as "Komodo Dragon Coffee" since the island cluster of Flores is the only native home to the endangered species.
In order to take advantage of the chocolate, vanilla, and allspice flavor notes, we have roasted our Komodo to a medium-dark. The coffee is naturally low in acid and has a very full body.
